“Being a medical professional, I thought I would have greater awareness regarding my own mental health, however, this was not the case. Being abused as a child was a heavyweight for me to carry all of my life. Prior to meeting Sue, I had been actively engaged in talk therapy for over 10 years. Upon losing the most important person in my life to cancer, I no longer found talk therapy therapeutic and spiraled into negative behaviors and thoughts. I went into a deep depression, riddled with anxiety I never before experienced soon after I was diagnosed with active PTSD. Shortly thereafter, I went intreatment and was exposed to EMDR, a life-saving modality. I met Sue soon after, working with her using EMDR to work through negative thought processes within my internal family systems. Through reprocessing events helped me to deal with my fears and gain perspective towards my actions. Over three years of working with Sue, I have never felt so free and unencumbered by my past. Sue helped me to see the beautiful person I am today and to love everything about who I am. Sue once told me "I am a success," not just because of all of my accomplishments in life but because I am successful in life. I highly recommend Sue to anyone struggling, she is compassionate, empathetic, and in-tune with her clients. You owe it to yourself to let go of negative patterns of behavior and thoughts, Sue is just the person to help you accomplish this and begin to live life again.”
